  2. 2. iSky Guide: How to become a Star Ceiling Expert Welcome to our iSky Guide, the one-stop spot with everything you ever wanted to know about the benefits of iSky Panel Systems. To help you become a certified star ceiling expert, this guide includes: • iSky Dictionary • Sales Sheet information on iSky Panel benefits • Specifications on iSky Panel System components • How to Estimate Your Job • How to Install iSky Panels an overview • Ideas on Designing with flexible iSky solutions Before we jump into all the “how to” material, we’ll start your iSky Guided Tour with a quick overview of the benefits of iSky Panel Systems. First, our system is LED driven, and comes with our patent-pending Star Engine. The advan- tages? • A low voltage light source for low power consumption and little heat • All digital, solid state driver that’s very efficient, with no moving parts, and high vibration capacity • Lighting that has ultra long life and no uv/ir radiation Second, our specifications are designed for easy installation and efficient and accurate job estimation. Above all, our systems are high-quality – in acoustic materials, construction, technology, and overall design. That’s why experts pick iSky Panel Systems. And you look like an expert to us. So, enjoy the guide. And call or email us with any questions or suggestions. 911 Green Bay Road, Winnetka, IL. 60693 USA p. 847.784.5959 f. 847.446.9191 www.iSkyPanels.com

  4. 4. Big Bang Effects Without Big Banging iSky star ceilings are easy to install. No more banging nails or forcing fiber through dry wall. Our plug-and-play Panel Systems make estimation easy as well, bringing high-end star ceilings within reach for home theaters and other environments. With premium acoustic materials and our exclusive LED technology, iSky offers the best quality for the best value. And as a result of the patent-pending Star Engine, our lighting effects mimic the random glimmer of the night sky unlike any system on the market. The creators of iSky Panel Systems, Fiberoptic Studio Corp., have been designing custom fiber- optics and premium LED lighting solutions for clients like Motorola, McDonald’s and General Mo- tors for over 20 years. So they know what works best for consumers and installers. 911 Green Bay Road, Winnetka, IL. 60693 USA p. 847.784.5959 f. 847.446.9191 www.iSkyPanels.com

  9. 9. Surface Mount Worksheet Use this worksheet to help calculate quantities of Surface Mount Panels which can be installed on any finished surface. As an option, you can add uRay lighting to the panel’s edges to create additional depth and drama. Just leave at least a 2” space between the panel and wall if you are adding uRay Lighting around the edge of your panels (see the graph and information on this page) 1. Choose panel size: _____ 24”_____ 30”_____ 48” 2. Calculate the total number of iSky Star Panels to properly cover your design (see Design Ideas in this iSky Guide if you need ideas and see the graph on the bottom of this page to help with calculations.) _____ number of panels 3. Count the Number of Drivers: (50 Panels per Driver) _____ number of Drivers 1 = 1 – 50 panels 2 = 51- 100 panels 3 = 101- 150 panels and so on 4. Each Driver located remotely will require a Leader Cable (30’) ______# of Leader Cables 5. Each panel comes with Jumper Cable, Mounting Anchors, a pair of latex gloves and installation instructions. We suggest purchasing a few extra Jumper Cables for unforeseen obstacles. 6. First time installers will need to purchase a Mounting Anchor Kit or two. ______# of Mounting Anchor Kits 7. Choose iSky Cut Out Kit, a must for the professional installer who needs to make cut outs in the panels for speakers, vents, projector mounts and whatever else might protrude from a ceiling. All iSky panels can be cut. 8. Use uRay to create a glow from the edges of the iSky Panel. Use the Design Worksheet to help outline the overall area, count number of panels needed, and measure the total lineal footage of uRay lighting you’ll need 911 Green Bay Road, Winnetka, IL. 60693 USA p. 847.784.5959 f. 847.446.9191 www.iSkyPanels.com
  10. 10. Drop-In Worksheet Use this worksheet and the graph at the bottom to help calculate quantities of Drop-In Panels which can be installed on any finished surface. 1. Check panel size: _____ 24” x 24” 2. Calculate the total number of iSky Star Panels to properly cover your design see Designs in this Guide if you need ideas. _____ number of iSky star panels _____ number of standard panels use these panels without “stars”/fiber optic inserts as filler in the rest of the ceiling -- same matte black color and finish as star ceiling panels NOTE: iSky also offers black ceiling grid for color matching 3. Count the Number of Drivers: (50 Panels per Driver) _____ number of Drivers 1 = 1 – 50 panels 2 = 51- 100 panels 3 = 101- 150 panels and so on 4. Each remotely located Driver will require a Leader Cable (30’) ______# of Leader Cables NOTE: Each panel comes with Jumper Cable, a pair of latex gloves and installation instructions.
