  • 3. Pick any cable from library
  • 4. Pick any cable from library
  • 5. Tick Load Amp to use standard cable ampacity It means ETAP will select based on load FLA without concern with Voltage drop
  • 6. Tick Vst Min to use calculated Voltage Start Minimum It means ETAP will select based on Voltage Drop when Starting Motor
  • 7. Tick Short Circuit use calculated current withstand It means ETAP will select based on shortcircuit current (we will discuss later after I study about this)

  • 9. Tick MF (multiplication factor) It means ETAP will select based on multiplication factor regarding with the application (we will discuss later after I study about this)
  • 10. Tick Load Amp and Vst to combine the calculation It means ETAP will select based on FLA and Voltage start

  • 13. Using Motor starting simulation to calculate Vst As we can see, even we set the Vst to 95% the result is 86.5%
