Here I edited the background
out of the image to just leave
the main focus on the chosen
subject. I then used the blur
tool to make the edges look
less square and more smooth.

In my first edit of the
image I wanted to be
on my front cover, I
removed just the
unnecessary parts of
the background and
kept the promotion of
the college. I didn’t
choose to use this, as
the image did not suit
well to my front
cover.
4. *
Here I cut the image away
from the background as it was
not needed. I then used the
blur tool to smooth the edges.
This was my final image for
the front cover of my
magazine.
