Why do I need to be saved?
God made man to have dominion over creation
God created man for fellowship and the devil deceived the first man and woman created, Adam and Eve to disobey God.
It was their disobedience that caused them to be separated from fellowship with God.
This became a generational curse that the whole human race has sin.
Sin brings spiritual death, which separates us from our Creator.

Did you know?
Jesus Christ came to earth to die for you
John 3:16: For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. (Amplified Bible)
Jesus said, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly”

What else did He do?
II Corinthians 5:21: For our sake He made Christ [virtually] to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in and through Him we might become [endued with, viewed as being in, and examples of] the righteousness of God [what we ought to be, approved and acceptable and in right relationship with Him, by His goodness]. (Amplified Bible)
He died on the cross for you and me.

What else do I need to know?
Jesus was crucified on the cross of Calvary for our sins and in three days He rose again.
Matthew 25:26b: But he had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.
“Jesus said to her, I am [Myself] the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on) Me, although he may die, yet he shall live;” (John 11:25in the Amplified Bible)

The Truth
Jesus loves you and me
He is willing to forgive you and accept you
You can start a new life in Jesus
Jesus paid the price for your sins, so that you don’t have to
Those who believe in Jesus will go to heaven and those who reject Him will suffer in hell for eternity
When you receive Him you will become a new person and it first happens from the heart

What happens now?
Believe that Jesus died for your sins on the cross and rose again after 3 days.
Romans 10:9: That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
You will become a child of God once you do this
You need to pray to receive Him as your personal Lord and Savior to direct your steps for life

How do I receive Jesus?
Jesus, I believe you died on the cross and rose again in three days for me. I now turn from sin. Please come into my heart. Lead me and teach me your ways and fill me with your Holy Spirit in Jesus name. Amen.
You are now a child of the Almighty God.
You are born again.
Now give thanks to the Lord
Colossians 1:12: Giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified and made us fit to share the portion which is the inheritance of the saints (God's holy people) in the Light. (Amplified Bible)

Important steps to follow
We welcome you into the family of God
You will need to attend church every Sunday to build your knowledge of Jesus and protects you from the devil’s deception
Pray daily as it is your spiritual food
Study the Bible daily as this will help you grow
Attend Bible study with other believers
Consider baptism as a sign of dedication to Christ and learn about the Holy Spirit
Develop relationships with other believers
