  • Define drive to guide, to control, to direct. Right now you maybe driven by a problem, a pressure, or a deadline, a painful memory. There are Hundreds of circumstances, values and emotions that can drive your life
  • Five common drivers: 1. Guilt = spend their entire lives running from regrets and hiding their shame. Manipulated by memories. Allowing their past control their future. God specializes in giving people a fresh start. 2. By fear = may result I a traumatic experience, growing up in a hig control home. Regardless of the cause, fear driven people often miss great opportunities because they are afraid to venture out. They play safe. You must move against it with weapons of faith and love. 3. By anger = people who are holding on to hurt and never get over them. They cannot forgive. Kinsa man gansi, ikaw lang. Listen: those who have hurt you in the past continue to hurt you now unless you hold on to the pain through resentment. Your past is past! Nothing will change it. You are only hurting yourself with your bitterness. For your own sake, learn from it and then let go.

  • Gods pleasure: God is smiling at you the moment you were born. Your arrival gave him great pleasure. Living for his pleasure is the first purpose for your life. Worship him, befriend him, have a close relationship with him God’s family: he created you to be part of his family. God wants a family, God is love and he treasures relationships. The bible says, “since you are his child, everything he has belongs to you” the riches of his grace, kindness, patience, glory, wisdom, power and mercy. And in eternity we will inherit even more. Let us all love one another because we belong in His family. Like Christ: we are spiritual beings. We have immortal souls and will outlast our earthly bodies; we can think, we can reason out, solve problems; like God we are relational – we give and receive real love – we have moral consciousness – we can discern what is right from wrong. What God cares about most is that what ever you do, you do in a christlike manner. Spiritual maturity, God wants us to grow. Serving God : created to serve. God designed you to make a difference in your life. God wants you to give something back not just to take something out of the world. Mission of christ, we are called to share with. Be instruments of God to spread his mission. To glorify him. It has eternal significance. Don’t waste the life God is giving you. Abandon your agenda and accept God’s agenda in your life.
  • Its not about you. The purpose of your life is far greater than your own personal fulfillment, your peace of mind, or even your happiness. Greater than your family, your career or even your wildest dreams and ambitions. Focusing on our selves will never reveal our life’s purpose.
