      • This report focuses on the UK managed brands following the remarkably successful year (see industry value chart on following page) that took many analysts (us included) by surprise.

      • Once again the introduction of new brands to the market led to unbelievable growth across the industry.
      • We forecast however that growth on this scale is unlikely to be seen again for some time.

      • Despite being around longer than any brand in this industry (barring Elvis Toilet Co in the US) the Express Angel Rose Group had another remarkable year; proving that the market is not just a short term one as viewed by many commentators.
      • By linking their brand with new entrants (JGBBP in particular) the 12 year old brand ensured it remained relevant with the critical ‘Casual Racist’ market.

      • An unexpected entrant to the market, MJ death Ltd racked up impressive profits despite their US origins.
      • Not only did the company manage more than 15 death commemoration magazines, newspaper front pages and TV appearances; they even managed to score 20 top 40 hits and created an instant industry for single gloves.

      • Despite spending a large part of the last decade trying to implode, JG BB Partnership scored one of the most surprising appearances of any brand in the Death Industry.
      • JGBBP’s success was largely down to capturing the ‘Chav’ and ‘Not so casual racist’ market groups. Having achieved this they then pulled off a huge coup by teaming with the market leader for the joint enterprise Next Di Ltd.

      • With lines in books, tv shows, mass market wine, bread and fish products, and a growing presence in the hotly tipped resurrection market; things look like going from strength to strength for HENNW Group.
