  • Emap are a content, subscription and networking business. Emap owns industry-leading brands that ‘sit at the heart of business’ like Retail, Health, Construction, Architecture, and Fashion. Their purpose is to connect professional communities, and inspire them to know, to grow, progress and win. They deliver their service through senior networking events; industry leading awards; online data products; social media communities; headline conferences and, of course, critical insight, news and analysis. A good thing about Emap is that they hear the market agenda, and create innovative solutions and better ways for our advertisers and sponsors to connect with their audience. Overall, Epap have deep knowledge in what they to and strive to provide a good service.

There lack of familiarity in both my genre of magazine and my target audience will mean that they will not be able to help me in the best way possible.
  • Condé Nast is a mass media company headquartered in the Condè Nast Building in New York City. The company attracts more than 164 million consumers across its 20 print and digital media brands. Condé Nast mainly focuses on fashion for females. Publications: Allure, Architectural Digest, Ars Technica, Bon Appétit, Brides, Condé Nast Traveler, Details, Epicurious, Glamour, Golf Digest, Golf World, GQ, Lucky, The New Yorker, Self, Teen Vogue, Vanity Fair, Vogue, W and Wired. Although Conde nast would be a great publisher when it comes to the fashion aspects of my magazine, they lack knowledge and experience with music magazines. They do however have experience with people around the age of my target audience, however I do not feel it is the most suitable publisher.
  • Natmags stands for “National Magazine Company. Natmags is a British magazine publisher based in London. Natmags mainly focuses on women's magazines, particularly fashion and lifestyle. However they focus on a wide range of subjects (mainly related to women) from weddings to women's health.
  • I would not deem this publishers to be the best option for my magazine because as mentioned on the other publishers, they do not have any experience with music magazines. As well as this, they also have little experience with people around the age of my target audience.
  • IPC Media are the UK’s leading consumer magazine and digital publisher. They have more than 60 iconic media brands and have a portfolio of award winning websites. IPC Media engage with 26m UK adults which is almost two thirds of UK women and 42% of UK men meaning they are very familiar with working with different individuals. IPC Media is committed to working in partnership with its consumers, advertisers, business partners and employees to deliver exceptional value, service, innovation and creativity.

  • Bauer Media is a division of the Bauer Media Group, Europe’s largest privately owned publishing Group. The Group is a worldwide media empire offering over 300 magazines in 15 countries, as well as online, TV and radio stations. Bauer Media is built on influential media brands with millions of personal relationships with engaged readers and listeners. Bauer Media’s magazine heritage stretches back to 1953 with the launch of Angling Times and the acquisition in 1956 of Motor Cycle News, both still iconic brands. Today, Bauer Media spans over 80 influential brand names covering a diverse range of interests including heat – the must have weekly celebrity title, Parkers, MATCH!, CAR and Yours.
  • Q Magazine Kerrang! Bella Take a break That’s life Heat Parkers MATCH! Car and yours Baur Media would be a great publishers for my magazine as they have worked with 2 very famous music magazines; Kerrang! And Q. However I do not think they would be of much help when it came to the fashion aspect of my magazine.
  • Future publishing is an award winning international media group and leading digital business. Future Publishing reach more than 51 million international consumers a month and create world-class content and advertising solutions for passionate consumers online, on tablet & smartphone and in print. They also hold leading positions in Technology, Games, Film, Music, Women’s Creative, Photography, Creative & Design, Sport and Auto. Future publishing has just achieved the status of digital publisher of the year 2013. PUBLICATIONS: 3D World Edge Fast Car ImagineFX GamesMaster Triathlon PlusWindows: The Official Magazine Your Family Tree I do not think that Future publishing is suitable for my magazine as they have no experience with teenagers and they have no experience with music magazines.
  • By far I think that IPC Media would be the best publisher with my magazine. They published one of the Music magazines that inspires me the most, NME. NME feature rock music meaning that they will already have experience in my genre. As well as this they have experience and knowledge in teenage magazines and fashion magazines meaning they would be able to assist me with many aspects of my magazine. I struggled to decide between IPC Media and Bauer Media due to them both having successful music magazines, however I think IPC Media has a wider spectrum of knowledge and will be able to help more with the fashion aspects of my magazine.
