Planning a Stretched Cluster • Typically only mission critical applications need to be included – Ensure you have enough bandwidth for the Traffic across the link • 2, 4, 8,10,Gb etc. – Do you need resilience? – 2 links is better – Define the right extension based on distance: Dark Fibre, DWDM etc. – Obtain the true distance of the extended link.
