Here the research objectives will be the identification of methods and tools aimed at transforming the Innovation and Change (I&C) specifications into technical specifications and then a renewed running FInES
FInES Recast will be driven by the I&C specs ;

This research challenge concerns methods and tools conceived for business people, to allow them to specify, and contextualize in the enterprise, the innovation needs and opportunities
emergent enterprise engineering methods, business process modelling tools, enterprise ontologies;
allow business experts to specify, in a precise and unambiguous ways;
innovations to be introduced at a business level.

4.6 Modelling, simulation and forecasting
RC2 – FInES awareness and intelligence platform
This research challenge addresses the problem related to the capacity of an enterprise to look at its own operations
understanding how it is doing, identifying innovation needs and opportunities, but also shortcoming and problems to be corrected;
improving and integrating extensive monitoring, assessment, and forecasting capabilities;
capturing and representing the above observations, to be then carefully analysed and assessed;
the monitoring and gathered knowledge will feed activities able to identify the needs and opportunities for innovation.
