  • SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE NEGATIVE FORM
    • We use the auxiliary verb “don’t” or “doesn’t” followed by the Infinitive

  • Be careful!!!!
    • Some verbs don’t use the auxiliary verb (don’t/doesn’t ) for the simple present negative form .
    • They add “not” after the verb.
    • “ BE ” I am / I am not
    • “ Have got ” I have got / I haven’t got
    • Modal verbs:

  • SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE INTERROGATIVE FORM
    • For “ YES/NO questions ” put “do/does”
    • before the subject and then the verb.

    • Do they copy their homework?
    • Yes, they do.
    • No, they don’t
    • Does she study in the library?
