  2. 2. It would have been a dream-come-true for most people if bacon, cheeseburgers, ice cream, French fries, doughnuts and fried chicken were good for your body especially for your heart. But the truth is, the more weindulge in these “delicious” foods, the more we are at risk of developing heart diseases. Fortunately there arefoods that you can eat every day that are not only tasty but can also strengthen your heart.• Oatmeal. A warm bowl of oats for breakfast is a good way to start your day. It’s full of fiber, folate, potassium and omega-3 fatty acids. Oatmeal lowers your cholesterol levels and helps clear your arteries. Top itwith banana and berries for added vitamins and fiber.• Olive oil. Olive oil contains high levels of antioxidants and monounsaturated fats which are good in loweringblood cholesterol. It also helps in protecting your body from certain types of cancers. You can either have ashot of olive oil daily or use it as dipping oil for bread and raw vegetables.

Eat berries with oatmeal, salads or dark chocolate for a more healthy and tasty combo.
