  • 8. The key to being able to make the switch from Aggregator to Distributor serving the user wherever they are was changing the licensing framework

  • 10. Issue 1: Our interaction with users is still very much ‘push’
  • 11. Issue 2: in this ‘linear model’, there is not enough sense of shared ownership and cooperation
  • 12. Issue 3: we believe in opening up data. Does this leave room for paid services?
  • 13. Issue 4: in the current governance structure the ‘users’ take no part
  • 14. Can we rethink Europeana as a Commons or set of Commons?

  • 17. Next steps are to apply the principles to 3 pilots to find out what works, what doesn’t, what needs negotiating:
