An American Chick Flick starring Jennifer AnistonName of film: The ConnectionTarget Audience: Women at the age of 16 to 50 yearsSynopsis: the synopsis of this film is that a young girl who lived in a small town in thecountry side who grew up with a young boy who lived there too. They grew up togetherhelping each other through life when the first world war breaks out when the childrenhad become young adults. The young man was taken off to war and the young womanlearnt and trained how to become a nurse so that she could find him again when the waris continuing. One day the young woman felt that she would never be reconnected withhim being a nurse and decides to disguise herself as a man so that she can participate inthe war and try to find him. When the couple are reunited on the battle field they arefaced with multiple hurdles they must overcome in order to survive together. But willtheir love survive the war? What will they sacrifice in order for their love to survive?

Poster AdvertisingWhere should the poster go?• Tube Stations: the reason for posters being located on tube stations is because hundreds of people use the tubes and when the posters are located there it has a high chance of being viewed by hundreds of people and about half of the people that use the tube station is women and women are the main basis to the target audience.• Bus Stops: the reason for posters being located on bus stops is because hundreds of people use the bus as transport from the tube stations and when the posters are located there it has a high chance of being viewed by hundreds of people and about half of the people that use the bus is women and women are the main basis to the target audience.• Bus Banners: the reason for posters being located on buses or in other words (bus banners) is because when people are walking on the streets or driving in the car or people actually riding the bus these people will be able to view the sides, front and back of the bus which means that the poster will be being viewed throughout the entire day.
  12. 12. Advertising: Previous Examples This is a poster advertising Jennifer Aniston’s film “Horrible Bosses” which was a comedy with some romance. Through this films advertising with a budget of $35 million, the film made a box office profit of $209.6 million. I feel that this shows that through advertising, this movie made masses of profit, I have the same hope for the upcoming Jennifer Aniston film. This is a viral advertisement where it promotes that you can download the film Marley and Me on iTunes when it has just been released. This film is a chick flick similar to the upcoming Jennifer Aniston film. Through this films budget of $60 million, the film made a box office profit of $242,717,113. This again proves that through the advertising of a film you will make more profit the more advertising that is used to help to promote the film.

A viral campaign will include advertising of particular filmwebsites, this will help to advertise the upcoming film as it will be advertised on similar topic websites. Theviral campaign will also include advertising on social networking sites such as Facebook, YouTube andTwitter which will catch the attention of our younger audience.Will there be a film website?There wont be a film website for this particular film as I do not feel that a particular website that is basedaround the film will attract the audience as much as through social networking and film websites.
