  2. 2. Logging in to Outlook Once you login using www.live.com or www.hotmail.com or www.hotmail.co.uk and then enter your hotmail e-mail and Password, the following screen should be displayed. Now use the mouse to click on the down arrow on the right of Outlook.
  3. 3. Access SkyDrive This will display the following: Use the mouse to click on SkyDrive symbol on the right and this dispalys the contents of the SkyDrive.
  4. 4. Apps Use the mouse to click on the down arrow next to Create and this allows access to the following: These are MS Office Web applications which don’t offer all the functions, but enough to do the basics. Folder allows the creation of a folder in the Skydrive and Excel survey is a template that’s free to use.
  5. 5. Create a Document Use the Mouse to select the Create down arrow (as per last page) click on Word document and a popup prompt appears requesting a name to be entered for the new document: A similar prompt appears for Excel, Powerpoint and OneNote. The new Word document is saved on the SkyDrive as shown below and in preview mode, showing the contents.
  6. 6. Using SkyDrive The last thing to do is click on the arrow head next to SkyDrive or on Upload text in the SkyDrive bar. This displays the following text: To Drop a file into the box, minimise Skydrive and use Windows Explorer to select a file from your Documents folders or click on the blue text and select a file and press the Open button to complete the operation. Either way the selected file is now on your SkyDrive. Click the Close button when finished loading files on to the SkyDrive. It is also possible to place all the files in a folder in a Zip file and upload that on to the SkyDrive.
