Economic data from Germany and a meeting of European finance ministers will also be key events for the week.  Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke sought to allay lawmakers’ concerns about U.S. taxpayers having to bail Europe out of its crisis, insisting that financial stress in the region has recently abated and offering a vote of confidence to the European Central Bank.  Bank of Japan policy board member Yoshihisa Morimoto said he is concerned about downside risks in the Japanese economy, although the central bank expects the economy to return to a moderate recovery path in the first half of the next fiscal year starting April.   
