that people come across differ-

success and that these challenges
were not there to deter them
from their dreams but to test the
strength of their passion for their

Coaching sessions held for
finalists during the run-up to the
grand finale helped students pro-

The competition ended on a
high note with all the contestants
echoing the sentiments that they
had come to the realisation that
disability cannot stop them from
achieving their wildest dreams in
each of their presentations.

that they did not know that their

EP complements academic curriculum
University of Zimbabwe
Dean of Students Munyaradzi
Madambi commended Endless
Possibilities for equipping col-
lege and university students
with skills that complement
their academic curriculum. He
said this while addressing dele-
gates at the grand finale of the
Endless Possibilities Challenge.
Madambi highlighted that
social skills, presentation tech-
niques, personal hygiene
grooming and etiquette are
not ordinarily taught in the
classroom, but vital to the
students’ advancement outside
their current learning environ-
ments.
“What Endless Possibilities
teaches you is sometimes not
taught in your lectures. How-
ever, these things are very
important . They will enable
you to succeed when you leave
university,” he said.
The dean also expressed
his desire to see Endless Possi-
bilities grow and begin to im-
pact students from other insti-
tutions of higher learning. He
said that he was impressed
with the organisation’s initia-
tives and hoped to see them
implemented at other colleges
and universities.
Endless Possibilities cur-
rently runs training workshops,
seminars and apprenticeship
programmes for students with
disabilities from the University
of Zimbabwe, Midlands State
University and Mutare Poly-
technic College. Its future
plans are to expand into other
institutions of learning, starting
with universities and colleges.

of control will be the theme of
the year and he would like
teach students to take person-
al responsibility over every
area of their lives.
Endless Possibilities is
known for its unconventional
approaches to doing things.
They seem to have mastered
the definition of insanity: doing
the same thing and expecting
different results. That’s often
the case for many organiza-
tions but not so for EP.
