  4. 4. Task • We need to consider locations and places in the text. • Today we will look at space and room. • We will focus on chapter 2 and consider how space is used and how this reflects on characters.

  7. 7. Antithesis • What does this term mean? • When two opposite words or two opposite situations are put together. • Antithesis happens a lot in Of Mice and Men; and happens in Chapter 2. Foreshadowing • A technique used by authors to give clues about what will happen later in the text. New terminology
