Dividing Up Your list
It’s all about segmentation!
Just like a human customer, no two bears are the same.
You never want a Polar bear to get the same message you’d send a Kodiak.
Splitting up your Master Bear list means you can be more targeted with your messages – like a hunter (but with email.)
The more targeted your email communications - the better chance of making a connection/sale/or bullseye.

A Bear by bear list
First break your list up by bear type.
Then break that list into the relationship you have with those bears.
Example: I now have a sub-list called “Polar”
Bear In Bar Inc 2010 “ This bear is a friend” “ This bear is a prospective client” Both “Polar” – but both are not the “same”

Specific messages to specific bears
Once you split your list-up – keep tabs on it.
When a prospective Koala goes from prospect to customer - update that list!
Remember: Bears are can be dangerous.
One wrong email and a subscriber can go from Gentle Ben to unsubscribing and/or mauling you.
