  • - During April of this year, 15-year-old Parker Liautaud and 44 year-old David Newman raced to be the first to check-in at the North Pole via Foursquare. Only one prevailed. Liautaud checked-in first and became the only person to unlock the Last Degree badge on Foursquare.

    • Location-based social networks are social networks that use GPS features to locate you and that let you broadcast your location and other content from your mobile device.
