  • EltonSherwin Elton Sherwin , Venture Capitalist and Author at Ridgewood Capital Here are the checklists many entrepreneurs have used to put together their PowerPoint presentations and their business strategies.

I wrote The Silicon Valley Way in the mid 1990’s while I was flying back and forth from Silicon Valley to China. Originally, it was titled “The 45-second Business Plan.” The publisher, Prima Press, changed the title to “The Silicon Valley Way” but made no other changes.

The first edition was published in 1998. At less than 20,000 words, it is the shortest book—some would say the most useful book—on many business school reading lists. Often, topics are covered in a single page. It has been published in Japanese, Korean and Spanish, and multiple times in English and Chinese. Visit me at www.EltonSherwin.com
