  • 1. The following document is to be used as a template for your photographic storyboard. The image is to be place in the top box Shot number # Action Mise en scene Camera (shot/movement/angle) What happens in the frame, do objects/people move or physically interact?   • 2. Shot number #1 Action Camera will be faced at the main character , with him looking to the sky with his headphones in. Mise en scene The mise en scene will be a street in the background of the character. Camera (shot/movement/angle) The shot is a medium close up and we are slightly looking down on the character so we know he is not of power. Shot number #2 Action The boy is walking looking at what is ahead of him. He will most probably be looking down the street. Mise en scene The mise en scene will be the field next to the boy, the street ahead and the start of the forest. Camera (shot/movement/angle) This will be an eye line match of the what the boy is looking at. Soundtrack (effects/dialogue/atmos/music) Soundtrack (effects/dialogue/atmos/music) Shot duration: The shot should be about 4 seconds long. Shot duration: The shot will be about 3 seconds long.
  • 3. Shot number #3 Action The boy is still walking down the street and in the corner of his eye he spots two chavs on the corner. Mise en scene The camera is faced slightly more towards the forest than before, edging toward the street corner. Camera (shot/movement/angle) this is a long shot of the chavs on the corner. We will only see half of their body's. Shot number #4 Action The chavs seem to notice the boy nervously looking at them so they start to walk closer to him. Mise en scene We are now facing the chavs directly and in the background of them are the houses Camera (shot/movement/angle) Medium close up. We can now clearly see the chavs and what they are wearing + facial expression. Soundtrack (effects/dialogue/atmos/music) Soundtrack (effects/dialogue/atmos/music) Shot duration 3 seconds Shot duration 4 seconds
  • 4. Shot number #5 Action The boy realises the chavs have started staring at him so he becomes scared and this is shown in his facial expression. Mise en scene We cannot see much as the camera is focused on the boy but what we can see is the railings and the forest vaguely. The noys facial expression is very scared looking. Camera (shot/movement/angle) Close up Shot number #6 Action The boy starts to panic so he goes to turn away to another direction. Mise en scene We are now slightly facing the railings because thwe boy is turning. The boys facial expression is very nervous and frightened looking. Camera (shot/movement/angle) Over the shoulder shot. Soundtrack (effects/dialogue/atmos/music) Soundtrack (effects/dialogue/atmos/music) Shot duration 3 seconds
  • 5. Shot number #7 Action The situation seems a lot more serious than before. We can now see the chavs have took a great interest into the boy but we do not know. Mise en scene We are looking at he chavs from behind. We can see they have started to walk towards the boy and we are also facing the boy now. Shot number #8 Action The chavs start to run at the boy and we can clearly see the danger he is in now. Mise en scene We can see the forest floor and the road floor. We can see by looking at the chavs legs/feet the speed they are running at. Camera (shot/movement/angle) Low angle shot. Camera (shot/movement/angle) Medium shot Soundtrack (effects/dialogue/atmos/music) Soundtrack (effects/dialogue/atmos/music) Shot duration 3 seconds
  • 6. Shot number #9 Action We are looking at the situation from behind a man who is on the field. The chavs have now nearly got the boy. Mise en scene The chavs facials expressions are now more serious than ever. They look like they mean business. The boy looks frozen and looks like he cannot move. Camera (shot/movement/angle) Over the shoulder shot. Soundtrack (effects/dialogue/atmos/music) Shot number #10 Action They chavs have caught the boy and now have hold of him. One of them grips him with a lot of force. Mise en scene The boy is almost reduced to tears and looks terrified as he does not know what he has done. Camera (shot/movement/angle) A two shot. Soundtrack (effects/dialogue/atmos/music) All sound has now stopped. There is nothing but silence.
  • 7. Shot number #11 Action The chavs grip only seems to be getting stronger. The boy cannot move at all. Mise en scene We can hardly see anything apart from the boys face. He looks like he is about to burst into tears any second. Camera (shot/movement/angle) Extreme close up. Soundtrack (effects/dialogue/atmos/music) There is still complete silence apart from a car going past. Shot number #12 Action The chav who has hold of the boy starts to drag the boy into the forest next to them. Mise en scene The boys facial expression is wide open as he screams for help. The chavs don’t seem to care as they drag him in the forest. Camera (shot/movement/angle) Medium close up. Soundtrack (effects/dialogue/atmos/music) The boy screams for help as loud as he possibly could but no one replies. No noise apart from the birds whistling and the leaves rustling.
  • 8. Shot number #13 Action They are now in the forest and the boy is trying to pull away from the chavs grip on him. The boy manages to get out of the grip but only falls to the floor;. Mise en scene We can now see the inside of the forest. The leaves blowing everywhere and the muddy floor. Camera (shot/movement/angle) Close up. Soundtrack (effects/dialogue/atmos/music) Birds whistling and leaves rustling. Shot number #14 Action The boy stands up and just puts his head down. We now think he is crying. Mise en scene We can now fully see the inside of the forest. We can see the tall trees and the leaves blowing. The boys facial expression when he stands up is very emotional and scared. Camera (shot/movement/angle) Medium close up. Soundtrack (effects/dialogue/atmos/music) The sound of the chavs laughter as the boy cry's. The sound of the boy crying.
  • 9. Shot number #15 Action We are looking at the situation from above. The chavs are about to address the boy as he stops crying. Mise en scene The muddy leaf covered floor. Camera (shot/movement/angle) High angle shot. Soundtrack (effects/dialogue/atmos/music) The sound of the boys sniffling as he stops crying. We can still hear the sound of leaves rustling. Shot duration Shot number #16 Action The chav wants to get down to business so he tells the boy to shut up. Mise en scene The chavs facial expression is very angry and serious looking. Camera (shot/movement/angle) This is a medium close up and to give the chav more power and authority we are looking slightly up at him. Soundtrack (effects/dialogue/atmos/music) Sound of the chav talking, birds whistling and leaves rustling.
  • 10. Shot number #17 Action One of the chavs starts to pull something out of his pocket while the other chav talks to the boy very seriously threatening him. Shot number #18 Action Mise en scene Mise en scene The chav who is reaching into his pocket looks happy, almost victorious and the other chav looks very serious and stern looking. Camera (shot/movement/angle) Extreme close up. Camera (shot/movement/angle) An eye line match. Soundtrack (effects/dialogue/atmos/music) Soundtrack (effects/dialogue/atmos/music) Sound of the chav talking to the boy, telling him that he is Shot duration
