As the president of Eli's Corner Gourmet Bagel, Elias Youssef serves his community as well as his customers. On a regular basis, he donates leftover bagels to a soup kitchen located on Main Street in Paterson, New Jersey. Elias Youssef also works on projects benefiting the community of Paterson as a member of St. Mark's Syrian Orthodox Cathedral. Elias Youssef also pursues such quieter hobbies as cooking and reading. He loves Mediterranean and Italian cuisine, and he recently learned to prepare sushi. He enjoys exploring world cultures as a traveler as well, having visited destinations across North America and Europe.
