  • 2. Who We Are An Agency set up to encourage, promote and coordinate investment activities in the State with a view to stimulating economic growth of the State. A veritable platform for interaction between the investing public and the State Government. An organisation interested in the improvement of the quality of lives of the citizenry through creation of source of wealth
  • 3. Our Vision ``To be a vehicle of sustainable economic development of Ekiti State with a view to positioning the State amongst the most developed States in the Country.
  • 4. Our Mission To act as an economic catalyst stimulating real and sustainable rapid industrialization of the state, thereby creating opportunities for wealth creation for the citizens and economic growth for the State.
  • 5. Our Objectives 1: To contribute to sustainable development of Ekiti State through generation of profitable investments, maximization of return on investment and acting as catalyst for investments. 2: To support the State governments key goals of employment generation, poverty alleviation and improvement in quality of life of citizenry.
  • 6. Odua Centre The Agency transformed the former Odua Textiles into the Ekiti - Odua Skill Acquisition Centre where many youths have been trained and are still currently undergoing training in many vocations. The premises also accommodate a builder’s mart whose commencement of sales activities will begin in October, a Fountain Metropolitan Motors company limited (a motor company that will have an auto mobile service centre, an auto mobile training school and genuine spare parts mart), this company was commissioned in October, 2012 by Mr Governor, a Modern Industrial Park, A Fabric Market, a Kero direct depot, a computer accessories and electronics market, and an artisan village which are under construction.
  • 7. COMMISSIONING OF EKITI-ODUA ENTERPRISECENTRE BY MR GOVERNOR THE 3-D OF FORMER TEXTILE MILLS NOW EKITI- ODUA ENTERPRISE DEVELOPMENT CENTRE
  • 8. Agriculture Enterprise 229 Ekiti Youths under Ekiti Enterprise Development Agency (EEDA) in conjunction with NDE were trained in Agric Enterprise namely: piggery, Snailry, rabbitry, poultry, fishery, bee-making, horticulture, arable crop/ vegetable farming, sheep/goat rearing and basic business training.
  • 9. TRAINING AND EMPOWERMENT OF 229 EKITIYOUTHS BY THE DEPUTY GOVERNOR DISTRIBUTION OF TOOLS TO THE 229 EKITI YOUTHS
  • 10. Skills Acquisition for Youths 200 youths under Ekiti Enterprise Development Agency (EEDA) through EKITI-ODUA Skill Acquisition Centre have completed 6-months training in various vocations such as Auto mechanics, metal fabrication/rewinding, joinery/paintings, Electrical Repairs, Artwork, Hotel/Event management, Computer/Telephone hardware repairs and Fashion Designing. They have been empowered by the Governor with a loan of N20m, with interest fully paid for by His Excellency.
  • 11. TRAINING AND EMPOWERMENT OF 200 EKITI YOUTHS IN DIFFERENT VOCATIONS
  • 12. Enterprise Development Centers 3 Enterprise Development Centres located at Aisegba Ekiti for Ekiti South, Ilupeju Ekiti for Ekiti North and Iloro Ekiti for Ekiti Central were commissioned by His Excellency in October, 2012. ONE OF THE CENTRES AT ILORO EKITI
  • 13. Women Empowerment EEDA in conjunction with EDF, wife of Mr Governor, Erelu Olabisi Fayemi and Globacom empowered 200 women drawn across the 16 Local Governments of Ekiti state with Globacom public call office, therefore making them economically self reliant. WIFE OF THE GOVERNOR, ERELU BISI FAYEMI DISTRIBUTING GLO PUBLIC CALL OFFICE TO 200 WOMEN DRAWN ACROSS THE 16 LOCAL GOVERNMENTS OF EKITI STATE
  • 14. Young Entrepreneurs Training 14 Young Ekiti Entrepreneurs were trained by EEDA in cassava processing, timber making, concrete block making, confectioneries, sachet water making, animal feeds production, etc and were empowered by the State Government through EEDA in collaboration with BOI with the sum of N20m, and their projects have since been commissioned. Consequently, they have become employers of labour, for example, the young animal feed producer (Femi Fabiyi) is presently engaging 12 direct labours and 5 indirect labours in his factory.

  • 16. Tricycle Empowerment Scheme Mr Governor in October, 2012 through EEDA commissioned the Tricycle empowerment scheme, the first of its kind in Ekiti State COMMISSIONING OF EYIYATO TRICYCLE DISTRIBUTION OF 200 TRICYCLES TO EKITI EMPOWERMENT SCHEME BY MR. ARTISANS ON EYIYATO TRICYCLE GOVERNOR EMPOWERMENT SCHEME
  • 17. Industrial Development In fulfilment of his promise to assist Ekiti state in its quest for Industrial development, Alhaji Aliko Dangote established a cement depot in Ekiti state last year and this was commissioned by His Excellency in October 2011 during the celebration of His Excellency’s one year in office.
  • 18. An Evening for Ekiti For the first time in the history of the Nation, a State Governor assembled the shakers and movers of Nigerian Economy under one roof in Lagos as Dr Kayode Fayemi under an event titled ‘an evening for Ekiti’ hosted select few Captains of Industry at Four- Point by Sheraton Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. This colourful event was organised by EEDA and has since been receiving positive responses as far as investments in Ekiti are concerned. A NIGHT WITH MR. GOVERNOR AND CAPTAINS OF INDUSTRY

  • 20. Ekiti Farmers Academy In collaboration with Odua Investment limited, EEDA facilitated the establishment of Ekiti Farmers Academy at Isan Ekiti which has been approved by both Mr Governor and the management of ODUA Investment limited, construction work has started.
  • 21. Investment Opportunities Brochure Investors, both local and foreign can now view enterprise development in Ekiti state, potential areas of foreign direct investment, and mineral resources and arable/cash crops in Ekiti State. This is made possible through a brochure launched by EEDA last year. VISITATION OF FOREIGN INVESTORS TO EKITI STATE
  • 22. Eyiyato Kero Direct Scheme This is another welfare scheme aimed at making life easy for the Ekiti citizens especially in the rural areas who depend mainly on kerosene for their daily cooking. The state government subsidised the pump price of Kerosene in an agreement with the NNPC from N150 to N50. Fountain Metropolitan Motors The State Government in collaboration with Metropolitan Motors Ltd established Fountain Metropolitan Motors Company limited (a motor company that will have an auto mobile service centre, an auto mobile training school and genuine spare parts mart).
