  • Hello Klod, thanks for your comment and feedback.
SAS definately has a place in the Israeli market, I think that we will see it more in analytical BI apps (risk management, marketing apps) and it's historically very common in the data mining space.
Actually I see some more activity lately from partners and BI implementors so that's another good sign.
BTW, we will be covering BI trends and Israeli vendors in our annual summit on March 24th (you can find more details here: http://www.stki.info/index.php?page_id=9).

    • BI With or Without a DW? Source: Cutter BI without DW This approach makes early success possible without waiting for the DW. However, it leads to IT devolution, spider web implementations, and the continuation of data chaos throughout the enterprise BI with DW This approach makes data management, consistency, and a quot;single version of the truthquot; possible. On the other hand, it takes a long time and might not even be responsive to each BU's needs 11 All Rights Reserved @STKI Moshav Bnei Zion, Israel +972 9 74 444 74 www.stki.info

    • BI: Bottom Lines BI is a main priority for 2008-9 Data is becoming more actionable Move from “Classic BI” to “Active BI” Scorecards should be more about planning, less about “presentation” Data becoming more actionable: MDM concept will catch on (but doesn’t mean orgs will buy MDM tools) Data Management: messy but valuable Need for Information Architecture 21
