Later that day when Mike gets home he connects to the Internet on his computer and signs up for the online game network. I might as well sign up and see what John found so interesting. This is probably gonna be something silly.

A few days after Mike signed up for the game he calls up his friend John and makes plans to meet up with him at an Internet Café. This game is kinda cool. Its virtual effects are amazing! John was right, it is a cool game!

A week later in the Internet Café where Mike and John planned to meet up. Hey man you were right. The game is amazing. I told you! So, what level are ya on now?

One hour later John and Mike decided to log on to their gaming accounts and start playing.

Five hours later when Mike gets home at eight o’clock and realizes that everyone has had dinner. Hey everybody! Where were you? I was at the Internet Café with John. Why are you starting to spend so much time on computers and less time with your family? Don’t worry mom, I promise I’ll stop.

As the days went by Mike started to spend even more time in his room on his computer and he began to exclude him self from everyone around him. No matter how much his mother would confront him about how much time he was spending on his computer he would ignore what she would say and he would continue to play his virtual reality game. John, you need to stop spending so much time on your computer. Its not good for you. Ahh ,whatever mom.

Don’t tell me you’re busy playin that game. I mean you spend so much time on it. Take a break. Sorry man I can’t I’m busy. Hey Mike its me John. You wanna go out later? Look man if you have a problem with me playin my game then DEAL WITH IT ok. Bye. Even John notice how Mike was changing.

Mike’s report card was sent home on the weekend. After his mom looked at his failing grades she decided to take away his computer because she thought that it was the only way to solve his problem. After doing that, Mike began to become depressed and his mother had grounded him which made him sad and angry. He began to shout at everyone and he would break things. That’s it Mike. You are not allowed to be around any computers and you are grounded. Why are you becoming like this. I HATE YOU. Your not the boss of me. I can do what I want. No you can’t and don’t you ever raise your voice to me again. Understand. LEAVE ME ALONE. GO AWAY I HATE YOU.

As the days went by Mike became even worse. He began to hurt himself on purpose and he threatened to kill himself if he didn’t get his computer back but no one would listen to him. I swear if you don’t give me my computer back I’ll kill myself. Oh be quiet and go to your room.

Finally Mike couldn’t take it so he killed himself.
