  • 1. Incorporating ResearchReady into Moodle Using LTI Integration
  • 2. Access LTI Information When logged in as a Group Admin, access “Manage Groups” from the Admin dropdown menu.
  • 3. Access LTI Information From the Manage Groups page, select LTI from the Actions menu.
  • 4. Access LTI Information On the LTI integration page, select the tab for Moodle information. Please note that you can also incorporate LTI by Class as well as Group.
  • 5. Add LTI to Moodle Account Your Moodle Administrator will need to add ResearchReady as an external tool. Turn editing on; then click on Plugins to expand
  • 6. Add LTI to Moodle Account Under Plugins, select Activity Modules. Under Activity Modules, select LTI.
  • 7. Add LTI to Moodle Account Once in LTI, click on Add external tool configuration link
  • 8. Add LTI to Moodle Account Enter information from ResearchReady LTI under External Tool Configuration Moodle ResearchReady
  • 9. Add LTI to Moodle Account Enter the information and save the changes. You will then be brought to the LTI page where you can view all active external tools. Teachers can now add ResearchReady to their Moodle Courses.
  • 10. Adding ResearchReady LTI to a Moodle Course Once your Moodle administrator has added ResearchReady to the external tools, you can add ResearchReady to your Courses.
  • 11. Adding ResearchReady LTI to a Moodle Course When you are inside your courses, scroll down to click Turn editing On. Then navigate to the top where you can add an activity or resource.
  • 12. Adding ResearchReady LTI to a Moodle Course Once inside Add an activity or resource, select External Tool and click Add at the bottom.
  • 13. Adding ResearchReady LTI to a Moodle Course When adding an external tool to a course, enter the tool name Launch URL. Then Save and return to course or Save and display. Moodle ResearchReady
  • 14. Adding ResearchReady LTI to a Moodle Course If you were successful, you will be able to automatically access ResearchReady directly from your Moodle account without logging in separately.
