  • 10. 10 EUROFIT S&T OBJECTIVES • Harmonisation of 3D scan data that enables cross-data analyses • 3D enhancing of existing 1D databases • Implementation of 3D shape analysis methods • Making 3D data available, usable and affordable to the industry
  • 11. 11 PRE-PROCESSED MESH HOMODEL 25.000 homologous model have already been created HOMOLOGOUS SHAPE REPRESENTATION RAW SCAN • Homologous mesh structure based on anatomical references • Semi-automatic process
  • 12. 12 SMART ULTRA - COMPRESSION 3D Scans: 500.000 data points – 6MB per scan PCA Compression: • 100 eigenshapes – 60.000 points – 400b • 50 eigenshapes – 30.000 points – 200b • 20 eigenshapes – 12.000 points – 80b Target group 1000 scans – From 6Gb to 12MB Compression rate by a factor of 500 achieved!
