For Immediate Release: Media Contact Elischia Fludd, Executive Director Elischia@eotoworld.org +1 424­259­1034 EOTO World  HONORED AS 2013 TOP­RATED NONPROFIT New GreatNonprofits.org Award is Based on Positive Online Reviews New York, NY 29 August 2013 – EOTO World announced today that it has been honored with a prestigious 2013 Top­Rated Award by GreatNonprofits, the leading provider of user reviews about nonprofit organizations. “It is an honor to be a top­rated nonprofit for the second year in a row. People that work with us continue to show that we can volunteer our time to make waves of social impact. EOTO World continues to grow and it just keeps getting better with supporters that show they care about the work we are doing,” says Elischia Fludd, Executive Director of EOTO World. “We are so grateful to be recognized for our due diligence in providing services to help human rights activists strengthen their impact in communities across the globe. We are proud of our accomplishments this year, including amplifying voices for social change, working with entrepreneurs on their start­ups and providing consultation for human rights projects.” The Top­Rated Nonprofit award was based on the large number of positive reviews that EOTO World  received – reviews written by volunteers, donors and clients. People posted their personal experience with the nonprofit.  For example, one person wrote, “From the very beginning, EOTO World has been an important tool for activists to come together and share their passion for human rights. EOTO World is full of passionate people that fight for human rights at all levels. I am proud to be a friend of EOTO World and I will continue to support them in any way or form that I can.” While the Top­Rated Awards run through the end of October, EOTO World was part of the inaugural group to qualify for the year.  “Savvy donors want to see the impact of their donations more than ever,” said Perla Ni, CEO of GreatNonprofits, “People with direct experience with EOTO World have voted that the organization is making a real difference.” Being on the Top­Rated list gives donors and volunteers more confidence that this is a credible organization.  The reviews by volunteers, clients and other donors show the on­the­ground results of this nonprofit.  This award is a form of recognition by the community.
