The reference can then be moved to a
folder of choice

Using RefGrab-IT

  1. 1. Using RefGrab-It http:// unihub.mdx.ac.uk / study / library
  2. 2. To capture the bibliographic details of a website and save it into RefWorks…… …..click on the RefGrab-It bookmarklet on the toolbar You may wish to log on to RefWorks before you start searching the Web, but this is not necessary
  3. 3. A RefGrab-It window will open (there might be a slight delay) A reference for the website is here
  4. 4. To view the full reference…… Click on ‘Show details’
  5. 5. In order to import the reference into RefWorks….. ….select the reference and click on ‘Import to RefWorks’ Tick this box if you have more than one reference and wish to save them all
  6. 6. If you have already logged on to RefWorks this screen will appear Click on ‘View last imported folder’ to see the reference If you have not already logged on to RefWorks, you will be prompted to. This screen will then appear.
  7. 7. The reference can then be moved to a folder of choice Select reference Click on folder icon Select the folder you wish to move reference to
  8. 8. Changes can be made to the reference if necessary Click on the ‘edit’ icon ‘Save reference’ and then close window by clicking on the ‘X’
