  • 1. Library Catalogue: How to find a dissertation http:// unihub.mdx.ac.uk / study / library
  • 2. Access the Library Catalogue myUniHub > My Study > My Library > Library Catalogue Select ‘Library Catalogue’ from the list of resources
  • 3. In order to find a dissertation…. ….use the ‘General keyword’ search (this is the default search)…. ….type the word ‘dissertation’ into the search box followed by a subject eg. computer or mental health, or a course eg. MAHRM. Click on ‘Go’ when you are ready.
  • 4. Your search results are displayed Scroll down the screen until you find what you want, then click on the title for more detail
  • 5. You can now see more information about the dissertation Title Author Year Course Module In order to see the dissertation get a ‘Dissertation request form’ from UniHelp. Complete the form and return it to UniHelp. Dissertations are issued for 3 hours for use in the Library only.
  • 6. Some dissertations have been digitised Click on the title and then the ‘Web access’ link to read the full-text online
  • 7. Middlesex University Research Repository You can also search for PhD dissertations on the Research Repository, which is available from ‘MyLibrary’ or http://eprints.mdx.ac.uk/
