Importing references from the library catalogue into ref works

  1. 1. Importing references from the Library Catalogue into RefWorks http:// unihub.mdx.ac.uk / study / library
  2. 2. It is possible to import references from the Library Catalogue Click on ‘Search’… …and then select ‘Online catalog or database’
  3. 3. Select Middlesex University from the drop- down menu It is also possible to search some of the other Library catalogues on the list
  4. 4. Enter your keywords in the search ‘Terms’ box You can choose how many items are displayed in your search results Click on ‘Search’…
  5. 5. You now have a list of books located in Middlesex University libraries….. Select the references that you wish to export to RefWorks Choose the folder where you want to send the references eg. HCI Click on ‘Import’
  6. 6. Click on ‘View last imported folder’ to see your new references
  7. 7. The new references have been imported New references are always sent to the ‘Last imported folder’…. .…but will also be in the folder selected
