See where students stand on their knowledge of your class by taking their “temperature.” Use that information to guide how you work with students individually throughout the year.
Two Ideas for Taking the Temperature!
1
Give a quick quiz in DyKnow Vision with basic-level questions about your course to determine students’ prior knowledge.
or
2
Ask students to submit a panel with at least two things they are concerned about for your class and two things they are excited about.
6. 6.
 7. 7. Import your syllabus into DyKnow Vision. On the first day, review it, annotate it, share it and then remind students to save it to an easily accessible network drive or file.
8. 8.
 9. 9. Use the Panel Management feature in DyKnow Vision to randomly collect slides from students throughout the year.
Participation Grade
Don’t forget to tell students you are doing this!
