  • RSM has analog output signal for monitoring through central building automation system. Unit is designed for instant verification that the room or area is “OK”
  • LED lights are primary visual alarm, since the screen color may not be verifiable to someone who is color-blind.
  • Door switch is optional. Screen will only change between green and red if no door switch is installed
  • Picture on Right: Clean Room Airflow Path: Air is blown in through ductwork at top of room. The Filtered air “washes” down over the working area, and is exhausted through vents near bottom of room.
  • Airflow is INTO the room, to protect doctors, nurses, and other patients from pathogens in the contained area
  • Airflow is OUT of the room, preventing outside air from entering the patient area. Airborne pathogens could enter wounds during surgery if not properly pressurized
