  2. 2. Theory of Operation• The paddle is installed through the wall of a vessel so that it comes in contact with the bulk media• An electric motor in the control spins the paddle. As the media builds up the paddle is impeded from spinning• When the paddle stops spinning the motor then rotates activating the output switch
  3. 3. Theory of Operation• The motor then turns off• When the material no longer impedes the paddle a spring mechanism reactivates the motor, and returns the switches to the normal position• The paddle then starts spinning again

Specifications• Temperature Limits: Process: -25 °C to 80°C Ambient: -4°C to 60°C• Pressure Limit: 0.7 BAR• Power Options: 120vac, 230vac or 24vdc• Electrical Rating: 5amp @ 250vac 3amp @ 24vdc• Adjustable Paddle Sensitivity• 1-1/4” NPT Process Connection• PLS2 comes with a paddle• CE and FM approved
