As President of the National Association of Human Rights Workers (NAHRW), I am pleased to announce that on March 7-8, 2013, NAHRW and the International Association of Official Human Rights Agencies (IAOHRA) will host its first Atlantic Regional Conference in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The conference will be held at the Silver Spring Civic Center in Silver Spring, Maryland and the registration cost is $75.00.
Sara Pratt, HUD Deputy Assistant Secretary for Enforcement and Programs, and Wade Henderson, Executive Director of the Leadership Conference on Human and Civil Rights, lead an impressive lineup of excellent presenters, subject matter experts and dynamic professional development sessions during this important 1 ½ day professional development event. The IAOHRA/NAHRW Atlantic Regional Conference will provide effective methodologies, valuable information and legal updates for all who have an interest and/or professional responsibilities in the areas of equal employment, fair housing, diversity and inclusion, human and civil rights. Future conferences are in the works for other regions throughout the country.
For registration details and further information on the IAOHRA/NAHRW Atlantic Regional Conference, go to http://nahrw.org/conferences.html
