Measure rate at which bills are paid and purchase orders and invoices are
processed accurately, timely, and in keeping with meeting the needs of the
company.
Regular finance audits to determine compliance with company, state, federal,
etc. protocols.

Pros Lower costs, staffing, organized, manageability, improved concentration and
focus, and expertise will to success
Cons Vendors goals do not match Riordan’s goals, miscommunication, misunderstood
expectations, lack of knowledge about Riodan, negative impact on staffing, loss
of flexibility

Plan
Research, exploring both the negative and positive possibilities, select a vendor,
establish a contract, set a date for implementation, devise a firm schedule, and
establish a budget.
Performance
Measures
Measuring employee and customer satisfaction via surveys, questionnaires,
rating scales, and indexes.

Find the right vendor whose staff is experienced, dedicated, has a dedicated
team, is affordable, and flexible.
Performance
Measures
The vendors performance will be measured in the following areas: timeliness of
deliverables, budget vs. actual cost, tasks meet functional specifications,
actionable results, contribution to business goals, objectives, strategies, and
stakeholder satisfaction.

Pros Improved management of research results, availability and flexibility in
manipulating data, faster implementation with experts, decrease in labor and
production cost, and optimized production.
Cons Risk of product information theft, language barriers, miscommunications and
misinterpretations, need for increased security measures and quality control,
Need of higher quality control, risk of product information used to generate
competition, varying laws in foreign lands
