    • FORMATION OF ADVERBS
    • We usually form an adverb by adding – ly to an adjective.
    • bad = badly clear = clearly
    • Adjectives ending in –le , drop e and take -y
    • simple = simply terrible = terribly

    • Adjectives ending in consonant + y , drop y and take –ily
    • angry = angrily
