DocuWare stands for professional document management and provides its customers with all the elements they need for efficient Enterprise Content Management. Whether in health care, education, finance, manufacturing, government, transportation, in the private or public sector, With their solutions the software specialists from Germering, near Munich, save small and medium-sized enterprises money, improve their efficiency and ensure that important documents and records are not only securely archived, but remain available to all authorized employees at all times. DocuWare enables processes in any organization to be automated improving cash flow, productivity and customer service.

Regardless of format or source, the DocuWare product manages all types of printed documents and electronic data, including invoices, receipts, correspondences, drawings, files and e-mail, in a central document pool. The document management system has all the features required to capture, process, manage and share documents. DocuWare supports all forms of electronic signature. Integrated record management ensures secure, controlled and logged access to the electronically stored data. The central document pool is available to all authorized users around the clock via the Internet. DocuWare’s solutions stand out for their very low total cost of ownership (TCO) meaning it is easy to install, use and maintain. DocuWare is available in 15 languages. They are also ISO 9001 Certified and US FDA Compliant.

Founded in 1988, today the company is represented in more than 70 countries, with upwards of 7,500 installations and more than 100,000 users. While large international corporations use DocuWare, their core market is medium-sized enterprises, public authorities and the departments of large corporations. More than 400 Authorized DocuWare Partners (ADPs) implement document management solutions for local customers. Together with their employees these sales partners form a global network of more than 1,000 document management experts. DocuWare AG is based in Germering near Munich, Germany. Its subsidiary DocuWare Corporation is based in New York, from where it directs activities in North, Central and South America. DocuWare Ltd, based in Weybridge, Surrey, is responsible for the document management business in the UK and Ireland. DocuWare S.L. based in Barcelona serves the Spanish region, while DocuWare SARL in Paris is responsible for the French market.
