    • Occasionally you will receive a call to schedule a showing to take place within the next few minutes. The following checklist should take care of making your home look great
    • Sounds – turn off the TV & turn on some low volume music
    • Sights – turn every light on in the house (day or night), open those window coverings
    • Kitchen – wipe down the counters & hide everything else in the dishwasher
    • Baths – wipe off the counters, flush & close toilet lids
    • Bedrooms – straighten the covers & shove everything else under the bed (not the closet – they’re going to look in there)
    • Exterior – put away toys, primp the plant on the doorstep
    • Pets – they are a distraction, take them with you if possible
    • Odors – spray air freshener, open a window, and hey, you have 9 minutes, bake some cookies
    • Good bye – the single most important thing you can do is leave. Buyers need privacy and time. You’ll have just enough time to take a nice walk around the block with the dog
