  8. 8. <ul><li>If you obtained a degree that is awarded by the French or German Community in Belgium or an international degree , please fill out the online application tool and send the following documents to HUB. You will receive feedback within three weeks upon receipt of the application file. </li></ul><ul><li>a signed application form (see application tool ) </li></ul><ul><li>a certified copy 1  and translation into English (if not availalbe in Dutch, French or German) of your diploma of secondary education </li></ul><ul><li>a certified copy 1 and translation into English (if not availalbe in Dutch, French or German) of any diploma and transcript of academic records (listing courses, credits, marks). Last year bachelor students can already apply. </li></ul><ul><li>a copy of your national identity card (for Belgian students) or a certified copy of your international passport including – if you already have it - a copy of a valid visa and/or valid residence permit (for non-Belgian students) </li></ul><ul><li>evidence of proficiency that you took statistics and/or economics and management at an institute of higher education </li></ul><ul><li>evidence of proficiency in the English language : </li></ul><ul><ul><li>IELTS 6.5 </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>TOEFL iBT 83, CBT 220, PBT 560 </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Certificate in Advanced English ( CAE ) or Certificate of Proficiency in English ( CPE ) grade A, B or C </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>TOEIC Listening 490 + Reading 455 + Speaking 200 + Writing 200 </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>SAT Reasoning test Critical Reading 500 + Writing 500 </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>ACT English 20 + Reading 20 </li></ul></ul><ul><li>If you obtained a diploma from a Dutch-taught or English-taught programme of Secondary and/or Higher Education which is awarded by an institute of the Flemish Community or the Netherlands, or if you obtained a diploma from an English-taught programme of Secondary and/or Higher Education from a country of the 'Inner Circle' 2 , you will be exempted from the English language test admission requirement. </li></ul><ul><li>HUB's institutional code to be mentioned on the exam paper are TOEFL: 7039, SAT: 5749 or ACT: 5393. IELTS, TOEFL, CAE and CPE test reports are valid for two years. We can only accept original test reports (no copies). If you do not have the original test report form, please ask IELTS, TOEFL, CAE or CPE to forward one to HUB. Register for tests as soon as possible because some test centres have limited test availability. Students who have not taken the IELTS or TOEFL yet but are planning to are recommended to take IELT's Academic or TOEFL iBT. </li></ul><ul><li>motivation letter , including study objectives </li></ul><ul><li>proof of payment of the 63 EUR application fee ³ </li></ul><ul><li>2 recent passport-size photographs </li></ul><ul><li>for Chinese students: APS certificate </li></ul>3. Language requirements </li></ul><ul><li>Legally: </li></ul><ul><li> all institutes of higher education must check if an applicant is sufficiently proficient in the language of instruction of a certain degree programme (check by Ministry of Education) </li></ul><ul><ul><li>- Cfr. decree on the restructuring of higher education in Flanders </li></ul></ul><ul><li> Agreement with all institutes of higher education belonging to the Association of the Catholic University of Leuven: same rules apply </li></ul>

Language requirements: </li></ul><ul><li>How can students prove their English language proficiency? </li></ul><ul><ul><li>IELTS, TOEFL, CAE, TOEIC </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Students of the “Inner Circle” are exempted from the language test requirement </li></ul></ul><ul><li>'Inner Circle' (Kachru 1985): United Kingdom, United States of America, New Zealand, Australia, Canada (but not Quebec), Ireland, The Caribbean and South Africa. </li></ul>4. Degree requirements: </li></ul><ul><li>For the Bachelor of Business Administration : </li></ul><ul><li>Secondary school diploma obtainted within the Council of Europe : MUST be admitted if they can prove that they have access to an equivalent bachelor programme in the country where they obtained their secondary school diploma. </li></ul><ul><li>Secondary school diploma obtainted outside the Council of Europe : Students with a secondary school diploma issued MAY be admitted if they can prove that they have access to higher education in general. </li></ul><ul><li> HUB asks for an additional mathematics test (SAT or ACT) </li></ul>4.
