    • Global network of clubs and membership has grown steadily
    • Today SMC is a 503 C(6) Trade Association
      • 300 plus chapters worldwide

      • 300,000 plus members

  • Starting an Education Chapter
    • A Social Media Club (SMC) Education Chapter may be established at any college or university that is accredited by a nationally or regionally recognized accrediting association or board.
    • What do you need?
      • 10 or more university employees who will actively support the club and its activities.
  • Student Media Clubs
    • What is the process to start a club?
      • Find 10 or more university employees to actively support the chapter and become SMC Education members.
      • Create chapter charter (constitution) and by-laws on how the chapter will operate.
      • Submit the completed SMC Education Chapter Application form, application fee and the chapter by-laws for review.
      • Note: the application fee is being waved during the 2011-2012 academic year. Education memberships are $10.
