Diana worked as a Library Chief Assistant at a section of Sarpsborg library in
Ostfold. She had the job for one year beeing my assistant. The section serves people
with different languages, both for studuing and pleasure. After a while my job as an
deputy chief librarian became an exacting piece of wotk, I had to employ one assistant
more, a norwegian girl.
These two girls worked perfect together as a good team. Diana is a nice and pleasant
girl and they got on well together. The Norwegian girl reading and brougt
information in Norwegian and Diana traslated into Spanish, French, some Italian,
Dutch and manage even to find words so people from Slovenia and Russia could
understand.
We are lending out fiction and non- fiction books, dvds, cds, magazins and comics.
Diana learned fast what to be done with the different items. The books have to be
stamped, registrated and placed in the right bookshelf. She knows well a lot of the
films and cds so she could easily recommend titles for the borrower.
I, myself worked at this library only two days a week, so my two assistens seved the
library the rest of the week alone. Diana was responsible for the keyes, openingtime,
organisation and serving our customers. Diana is devoted, independed and friendly
and comes easily in contact with new people.
I give Diana my best, exellent character.
