Resource Library General Meeting Information Contact UsMessage from Kim ClausenPresident, Denver Coach FederationTHE ROADMAP TO MANIFESTING YOUR VISIONIn the last couple of months, we have been on a journey of building our belief inourselves as coaches and creating a vision of how that would manifest itself in ourbusinesses and careers. In order to feel confident in our ability to serve others, we haveto have belief in ourselves and support that belief with a vision of success. The next step on the road map of manifesting your vision is to create a plan thatallocates your time, energy and resources purposefully toward those goals. When wehave a plan, we know what actions to take, and we feel more focused and intentional aswe move forward. This fuels our belief and propels us into action. Without a plan, we toooften spend time on activities that may feel productive but ultimately do not bringprogress. This leads to frustration and then failure.Listed below are some questions to ask yourself to determine what activities toincorporate into your plan, what your purpose is for those activities, and which will bethe best to help you achieve your goals. After you have created a plan to reach your goals, you will then prioritize youractivities. While we’d like to do them all, too often we have more ideas than hours in
  2. 2. the day. Prioritizing, planning and spending your time to get the best ROI (Return OnInvestment) is most important. This may take time to iron out. You may change, eliminate or add to your plan; however, the key is to always stay in action toward yourvision.Questions for developing your plan: What activities will I engage in to reach my business and career goals? What continuing education do I need to pursue? What is the goal for this training? How will this advance my career/business? What organizations, clubs and memberships do I want to be a part of? How do I want to participate? What is my goal for these affiliations? How can I use social networking like Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn to reach my goals? What is my purpose for social networking? How can I use blogging? What is my purpose for blogging? Am I going to send a newsletter? What will be my goal for sending a newsletter? What topics will I address? Will I host teleseminars? What is their purpose? On what topics will I teach? Which ones will be free, and which will be for a fee? Am I going to do public speaking engagements? To whom? On what topics? What will be my goal for speaking? Am I going to do workshops? On what topics? Will they be for free or for a fee? What will be the purpose? Am I going to do longer term tele-traininings or in-person seminar programs? On what topics? Am I going to create products? What products do I want to create? Will I do complimentary sessions to get new clients? When and how will I offer these sessions? What product, services or programs will I provide? Do I want to create Joint Venture and Alliance Partnerships? If so, who are some of my more strategic potential partners? What sorts of activities can we engage in together?Too often people are unclear of their vision, and how they will make that vision areality. But when they take the time to create a plan, they are pleasantly surprised athow realistic and obtainable their vision really is.Give yourself the gift of a vision for your coaching career and the plan to make ithappen. I think you too will be surprised to learn that you can indeed make your dreamsa reality.Blessings,Kim Clausenkeclausen@netzero.netDCF September Meeting: Sept 8thDate: September 8, 2011Time: 7:00PM to 9:00PM(SIGs: 6:00-7:00 PM)Location: PPA Event Center, 2105 Decautur St, Denver, CO 80211Speaker: Therese Kienast, MCC, CPCC
  3. 3. Topic: "4 Secrets to Discovering Your Powerful Presence"*Offering the following CCEUs: 1 Business Development; .5 Core CompetencyIn less than 90 minutes get an Unfair Advantage! What is it that makes a coach irresistible, magnetic, inspiring, and a CLIENTMAGNET?The answer can be found in three simple words… A Powerful Presence. This talk is a mirror that will begin to transform your business (and your life). ThereseKienast, founder of Radical Leadership(TM) (MCC former trainer of coaches around theworld for the ICF), shares her path and what she knows to be true about why somecoaches have more clients clamoring to hire them than they can possibly handle andothers dont.Discover the secret ingredient to becoming a CLIENT MAGNET!Take a peak at yourself. Discover what it is about you that has someone choose to hireyou or not. Discover in an instant, a Radical shift that will have you "show up" as thekind of person YOU would want to hire. Begin to see how you can become a clientmagnet by being more of yourself than ever. What you can expect:As a result of your Radical Leadership experience, you will naturally: Enroll more clients and serve more people. Add more value to your clients’ lives. Create the income you want. Receive genuine, discerning and caring feedback on when you are most powerful and compelling and when you are “selling out” on yourself. Begin to Calibrate, practice and play with your unique strengths in a rigorous respectful community.Learning Objectives: Begin to be aware of your Impact at new and powerful levels. Begin to discover and receive genuine, discerning and caring feedback on when you are most powerful and compelling and when you are “selling out” on yourself. Calibrate, practice and play with your unique strengths in a rigorous respectful community. Begin to see where you can choose differently to be inspired, engaged and enrolled with your life, and as a result to be Inspiring, Engaging, Enrolling to your clients and others in your life.Therese originally designed her course, called Radical Leadership because she saw waysof "Be-ing" that attracted clients like crazy! She had more clients calling her than shecould possibly coach. She shares her discoveries with other coaches on why this was andHOW to make this happen for their practices too. As successes stories go, Theresespeaks often of how Radical Leadership got "Usurped" by corporations around the worldas they saw the transformational power it brings. In 2011 Therese is committed to bringRadical Leadership back to the home for which it was originally intended, her belovedcoaching community.About Therese KienastIn her speaking and coaching Therese Kienast combines humor, a tender heart, tough
