  2. 2. Chariot Races<br />Chariot Races were held in the Colosseum around the inner circle of it. The riders would wear there teams colors, and the winner was decided by whoever went around the Colosseum seven times first.<br />
  3. 3. Gladiator Battles<br />Gladiators were criminal or prisoners of war who fought to the death. They were owned by wealthy Romans. If they one enough matches they would become freedmen and live better lives.<br />
  4. 4. Wild Beast Hunts<br />The ancient Romans would bring back exotic animals from foreign lands that were part of their empire and have gladiators or prisoner battle them to the death.<br />
  5. 5. Sea Battles<br />For the Sea Battles the Romans would fill the Colosseum with water and then they would re-enact famous epic Roman military sea battles with gladiators manning each sides boat.<br />
