  • 3. 3 Global Talent Acquisition Today, we just live in a more complex environment Personal Brand • ‘Personal branding' is simply a newer term used for describing someone’s reputation • How individuals describe themselves and how others would describe them: mannerisms, style of dress, expertise • Today, personal brand also includes individuals online and their social media presence Corporate Brand What is a personal brand and how does it differ from a company brand? • Organizational brand is how consumers perceive the company • Employment brand is how those same individuals perceive what the potential benefits would be if they were to work at your organization • Similar to someone’s ‘personal brand’ a company brand is the reputation the organization has in the marketplace

They will research the recruiters, hiring leaders and others they know with the company or that are on their interview panel In today’s marketplace, your employees’ are part of your overall company brand identity – especially online Candidates (much like consumers) research a company prior to applying and/or interviewing Your employees’ LinkedIn profiles directly impact the impression that candidates have of your organization!

Hire the Best (HTB) is an action-oriented program designed to educate our leaders on how to attract the best talent including: • Taking a proactive role in attracting diverse candidates and providing an excellent candidate experience • Leveraging social media and our employment brand • Understanding the importance of personal branding • Fostering strong partnerships with talent acquisition HTB and PYP sessions are available in classroom, virtual or web based for course credit.
