  • 16. What was the Challenge? Axis Bank has a reputation to constantly provide its customers with a variety of options. However, the amount of complexity involved to introduce a new product in the department is very high, due to the large number of users involved, hierarchies and the departments directly affected. The brainstorming, money and time spent over a product development are immense. Initially, the discussion over a product took place over mails and constant meetings. However, this led to lack of data for some and excessive undesired data for others. Hence, it became important to manage the loads of data and processes related to the data. What did DePronto do? DePronto created a discussion board where product owners from various departments can upload their products. Convener can assign the product uploaded by the product owner to other department members. Each member can raise queries/concerns they have regarding to the respective product and each query/concern will be addressed by the product owner team till each is mark resolved. The change in environment requires a change of approach and corresponding modifications in decisions. The changing decisions need to be constantly updated and shared with all the stakeholders in the form of annexure. Thus, multiple hard copies are created and distributed, which is a hassle. What did DePronto do? DePronto created an online system which allowed the concerned person to make changes to the annexure and update it in the system. The users who wish to view the latest annexure could view the latest updated annexure. A proper monitoring mechanism is kept in place to avoid unnecessary and unwanted changes. Thus, they wanted the complex task of recruiting the right candidate to be as simplifies as possible using technology. What did DePronto do? We designed an application to automate the placement process of Axis Bank. This portal supports customisation of placement forms to the nth level. Placements are designed and published online. User takes the placement online and data is captured according to per pre-defined structure. Business rules are applied on the captured data to calculate desired results. Relevant data is made available for download using multiple filters. The data generated from across the branch through the observation is extensive and required manual collation. What did DePronto do? Depronto has created a system which would eliminate the manual collation existing and increase the speed of information access. The system would gather the information from the various branches and generate several reports which will be used by the higher management to take important decisions. The bank needed to manage large number of users and evaluate them during their training and other evaluation purposes. It was difficult to manage all the schedules, tests and evaluations of all the users and would need a considerable amount of human intervention and their time, The only viable solution was to develop a system that could reduce the human efforts and help in the management of all the tests. What did DePronto do? DePronto created a system that allowed the bank to manage its users without any hassles. The tests and their results were archived as needed and necessary reports were generated in order to help the top management to evaluate the candidates without getting involved in the test development procedure.
