Selected Accomplishments • LED PROCESS REVIEW FOR FACILITIES ORGANIZATION • implemented new computerized maintenance management system • method of selecting system presented at national association conference • custom user interface became model for other universities • IMPLEMENTED DECENTRALIZED WAREHOUSING SYSTEM IN SUPPORT OF MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS • expanded to nine modernized stockrooms • implemented use of hand-held technology • efforts resulted in materials being easily accessible to technicians in the field

Selected Accomplishments (continued) • TURNED AROUND INEFFECTIVE CAMPUS MAIL OPERATIONS • improved customer service ratings 16% over two years while reducing staff by 13%. • DIRECTED DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF RESOURCE CENTER FOR UNIVERSITY FACILITIES • centralized resources provided immediate access to information needed for construction and maintenance of 2.5M square feet. • DRAFTED AGREEMENT TEMPLATES AND PROCUREMENT PROCEDURES TO EXPAND OUTSOURCED MAINTENANCE • enabled contract maintenance to increase ten-fold

Selected Accomplishments (continued) • OVERSAW IMPLEMENTATION OF COMPREHENSIVE STAFF TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE • served nearly 200 employees, achieving 95% participation • significantly increased quantity and quality of training • INTEGRATED PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT AND TARGETED SELECTION PROGRAMS INTO UNIT OPERATIONS • programs enhanced goal-setting and attainment • served as roadmap for other units in division
