DESIGN SCOPE - COMMUNICATIONS INFRASTRUCTURE
7. International operator’s
worldwide face the challenge
of how to deliver standards
compliant network models in
properties that span
countries, continents and
cultures and ensure
consistent branding and a
unified customer experience
whilst maintaining standard
service agreement models.
CCNA Certified Staff
mdg understand this challenge and respond with complete and consistent high availability LAN, WAN open architecture network designs that mirror
brand standards and incorporate the logical and physical data security measures that operators need to ensure PCI DSS compliance.
Mdg is vendor neutral and provides best of breed sollutions.
DESIGN SCOPE - DATA NETWORK
8. Today’s information age
demands sophisticated voice
and communication systems
in order for businesses to
remain competitive.
mdg understand that efficient
business communications are
a pre requisite to efficient
operation and management.
Effective staff
communications tools are
critical to delivering the guest
experience and mdg provides
design solutions across a
range of technologies from
conventional radio based
systems to wireless DECT and
voice over WiFi.
The integration of voice and data into a single hosted voice over IP communications platform provides access to new and emerging technologies,
reduces the cost of cable plant and allows businesses to do more with less. However in the hospitality market the requirement to segregate
administration and guest networks often precludes this level of integration in order to maintain robust data security.
DESIGN SCOPE - TELECOMUNICATIONS
9. Today’s media savvy
customers require high
quality and simple to use
audio visual facilities that
deliver high definition, high
resolution video and data
display coupled with high
fidelity audio.
mdg understand that ease of
use and seamless connectivity
is key to a successful facility
along with intuitive control
systems that require the
minimum of technical
assistance from the operator.
CTS Certified Staff
mdg provides complete hospitality design solutions for guest rooms, meeting and conference rooms, ballrooms, banqueting facilities and
teleconference rooms.
For larger scale specialist buildings including auditoria, theatres and large scale sporting venues mdg provide more complex and extensive solutions that
include acoustic modelling for high performance audio systems, sophisticated digital multimedia networks and video solutions for outside broadcast.
DESIGN SCOPE - AUDIO VISUAL
10. Against a constantly changing
international landscape the
requirement to provide safety
and security for the guest and
protection of the owner’s
property and assets remains
paramount.
Serving tourism, the business
traveller and the local
business community,
hospitality developments
have unique security needs
and a requirement to balance
overt security with diplomacy
and discretion.
ASIS (American Society for
Industrial Security) Physical
Security Professional (PSP®)
Staff
mdg understands these issues and provides complete design solutions for personnel, asset and building security measures that include CCTV, access
control, intrusion detection, perimeter protection and asset management systems.
Each project type requires analysis to identify specific levels of risk and threat based on its location and positioning and a methodical design process in
order to alleviate the security issues particular to the property.
