Customer data is often scattered across multiple systems, from self-hosted applications to cloud solutions and social networks (including private accounts of employees). Integration projects can be expensive and lengthy, often with limited success.

This presentation explores options to leave customer data decentralized, including:

- common reasons and examples of integration projects
-impacts of integration projects on data management and employee workflows
- implications of leaving customer data decentralized
- existing solutions to get the best of both worlds

The presentation will include a presentation of Unifyo and sample customers which decided to index customer in a central place (instead of interconnecting their existing systems) and then having decentralized access to it (rather than making the CRM the hub for all customer data).
