The Net Present Value (NPV) benefit is a calculation that measures the net benefit of a project, in today's dollar terms. </li></ul></ul><ul><li>IRR (Internal Rate of Return) </li></ul><ul><ul><li>What would a similar investment need to earn in order to compare with the returns on this project? IRR calculates the interest rate received for an investment consisting of costs and income and when they occur over time.
